Erasmus+

Gymnázium, Krnov, a contributory organisation, is a general secondary grammar school located in the Moravian-Silesian Region in the town of Krnov. It provides a broad-based academic education culminating in the maturita (school-leaving examination). The school offers two study programmes: an eight-year programme and a four-year programme.

The institution enjoys a strong reputation as a well-established educational provider within the region. Its students consistently achieve outstanding results in competitions at both regional and national levels. The vast majority of students demonstrate communicative proficiency in English, and many are also proficient in additional foreign languages offered by the school, including French, German, Russian, and Spanish.

At present, the school is a member of the Moravian-Silesian Region Consortium within the Erasmus+ programme (Project Registration Number: 2023-1-CZ01-KA120-SCH-000187994). Within this framework, the school implements a range of mobility activities, with a particular focus on job shadowing and group mobility for pupils.

The school is open to and highly values opportunities to establish international partnerships with other institutions, in alignment with the priorities of Erasmus+ and the criteria set by the Moravian-Silesian Region in its role as consortium coordinator.
